Woodlawn Trustees declared the opening of 718 E. 11th Street, the 10th cost-effective housing renovation.
Less than the grant, Woodlawn Trustees will renovate 20 vacant houses to supply housing for men and women and families at 80% of the location median earnings under a system announced by Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki.
The household has been renovated, with guide-paint remediation, new home windows, new flooring, a new roof, up-to-date lavatory w/ laundry facilities on the next flooring, and a renovated kitchen. The property has a living room, eating area, kitchen area, 3 bedrooms, and a person bathtub with laundry facilities and a yard deck.
The renovations were finished by the services staff of Woodlawn Trustees, and TAG Building, a minority-owned contractor.
Woodlawn Trustees has been a service provider of cost-effective rental housing in the Metropolis of Wilmington considering that the early 1900’s with housing at the newly created Flats on Union Avenue, and above 100 units on the East Aspect of Wilmington.
